Night Heron

This email received today from Alan Collens:

Hi,I've just flushed an adult Night Heron at the Ritec side of Tenby marsh.
It was about 100m along the footpath which starts from opposite the Kiln Park entrance.
It flew up from the ditch on the left of the footpath and appeared to go down before the willows on the far side of the marsh(SN115002).The black saddle contrasting with plain grey wings was obvious in flight. The other striking feature was the leg colour-bright orangey/yellow.
This was at about 11.45am today-I couldn't investigate further as I had to leave to pick up my daughter.
Cheers
