Ramsey - Montagu's Harrier

After a tip off from Eddie on Skomer this morning that the Pallid harrier was heading our way we went out looking but didn't find anything. This evening I was doing another scan for it and came across a thin winged ring tail harrier. We got some record shots and sent them to Dave Boyle and Steve Votier. Dave confirmed our bird was in fact a female Montagu's! Thanks to both for helping to sorting it out. We'll try and get some better photos tomorrow and hopefully work out if it is the Skomer bird....maybe the Pallid is here too!
