A quiet morning in the cold wind, A Great Northern Diver in full summer plumage taking a shortcut over the Head was very smart though and a Spotted Fly was in the Porthmelgan Withies. There were two Cuckoos on the Dowrog. and then four Swifts and a singing Garden Warbler at Heathfield GP. The Herons in the Anghof Valley now have young in the nest as do the nearby tree-nesting Ravens which were a bit noisy till I moved on.
