It was definitely a Whitethroat Wednesday on the coast path to the head this morning. They were singing from virtually every other Gorse bush. A Cuckoo, Willow and Grasshopper Warblers also did their bit.
A mass exodus of the Goldfinches from our garden, just about over night, might tie in with a big movement observed by Mike yesterday. We are now left with a rear guard of 4 Goldfinches, 8 Redpolls and a couple of Siskins.
