Weather effect

A loose group of about 60 Swallows and 12 Swifts, actively feeding, moved up the Western Cleddau valley near The Kell, just ahead of a thunderstorm. It would seem that the weather system caused turbulence that was concentrating suitable prey.

A little Egret was feeding along the tideline near Picton Ferry yesterday begging the question could it be breeding in the district, possibly at Eastwood?
