Wet, Wet, Wet

9 degrees, windy, mist, raining - must be another late spring day in Pembrokeshire! Still the 50+ Dunlin and 15 Ringed Plover at Kilpaison this morning didn't seem to mind. As they were busy refuelling on their way north they allowed a close approach and though I must have thousands of Dunlin shots it's always a real privilege to get up close to them, particularly when they are in their smart summer plumage. Just 6 Whimbrel present on the beach and a dozen or so Oystercatchers.
Click on the pic for a few more including one Dunlin jumping for joy.
