Late leucorhoa

On Mynydd Preseli yesterday a male wheatear of the the Greenland race leucorhoa was ringed - a very late date for this subspecies. The bird was carrying a lot of fat and weighed 45g (almost twice the weight of our local breeders at c25g), and so presumably still intended to make the journey north - just how late can spring get?
