Gann: 1 Black-tailed godwit, 1 sanderling, a wigeon and a ringed plover. Little egret and 2 herons on pools. Kete to St Anns: Female kestrel, 4 wheatear, 6 chough feeding in in field with large flock of rooks. 1 Yellow wagtail amongst the Pieds at lighthouse. Marloes Mere: Oriole Hide: 3 dunlin, 3 snipe, 5 lapwings, Yellow wagtail with 4 Pieds. Flock of 350 starlings just settling on telegraph wires when a female sparrowhawk came in, looked like it grabbed one as it dropped on to the mud out of sight. Derek joined me for a look from Britton Hide at dusk, nothing to report apart from cracking sunset.
