What looked like 5 buzzards soaring high over the mere was infact 4 buzzards and the Glossy above them, for one moment I thought it was drifting eastwards but changed its mind and whiffled back down. 5 lapwings out from Britton Hide. Bumped into Paul as I was leaving. Quick look at the airfield: Family of wheatear, dozen Pied wags and a male kestrel.
