Rosy Starling

Same place as Thursday - see blog below - but on this occasion we had a real camera, not M's useless iPhone! Though it was distant with a rampant herd of heifers between subject and us.

It was notable that the  Rosy often detached itself from the flock of Common Starlings (c150) to feed alone in a hedgerow bank and bracken,
while the other birds fed in open pasture.
