Dale and Marloes

Gann: Greenshank, 4 redshank, Common sandpiper, 3 teal, Little grebe, 2 Little egrets and 2 Godwits. I saw a/the Peregrine chase the small wader, suspect it was the same incident Derek reports (approx 4.30pm). The wader almost touched down as the peregrine came in 3-4 times as it flew out from infront of car park into the bay. Airfield: Really quiet - a wheatear! Lots of footprints around the pond (some obviously moorhen, and some smaller with beak marks). Marloes Mere: Oriole Hide: 2 snipe. Britton Hide: 6 lapwing and the female sparrowhawk being pursued by dozen magpies. A lone 'peachy' wheatear at barbed-wire gate. Gann last light - only the roost of oystercatchers.
