Late morning/lunchtime Gann: 6 Pied wags on beach and 9 dunlin. On the saltmarsh 4 heron, a redshank, 3 black-tailed godwits and a Little egret. The peregrine was making heavy going heading upstream against the wind but once she turned it would be a different matter with wind in her sails! Bumped into Paul G. up at the airfield, (he'd had a few Ringed plover) apart from a few wheatear just 4 White wagtails beside a small pool. Quick look again at the Gann at low tide: A bar-tailed godwit was the only new bird.
