Unusual sight on the Deer Park, while everyone else was watching seal pups - a group of 4 juv Bar-tail godwits were probing vigorously in the short turf at the cliff edge in the SW corner. They seemed to be finding plenty of food, and were very confiding.
From the barbed wire gate - 3 wheatears stood out against the black mud.
