This afternoon at the Martello Tower at the end of Fort Road, with an incoming tide: 49 oystercatcher, c25 dunlin (mainly juveniles), 4 ringed plover, 4 turnstone, and singles of grey heron, curlew, cormorant, mallard and little egret. There were also good numbers of black-headed gulls.
