Semi P

The Semipalmated Sandpiper was showing well this morning at The Gann. On the beach side of the lagoon on a patch of mud where the lagoon starts to curve away  to the left. Very approachable in company with 4 juv Dunlin even showing the partial webbing on the feet.

The birds then flew over to the small island - the first one as you walk up from the car park.

Well done Derek and those who helped to ID the bird. Click on photo for a few more photos on my website or here for a larger selection of photos.

Also at the Gann this morning a Common Sandpiper, on the beach 6 Ringed Plover and close into the shore a Manx Shearwater.
