Semipalmated Sandpiper - Gann

The moulting adult still showing well to at least 7pm this evening, on the lagoon on the west bank below Crabhall.  Not the best light, if it's in the same spot tomorrow morning the light will be better coming from behind.  Also 8 Ringed Plover, a Black-tailed Godwit, a Green Sandpiper, 2 Redshank, 3 Dunlin and 4 Little Egret.  Very grateful to Derek for finding it this morning and taking a snap which put us on to it - the value of digital images and this very blog!
