Skokholm

The Wryneck is still on North Plain and a Grasshopper Warbler was the first this September. Other birds included a male Sparrowhawk, a Kestrel, a Water Rail, a Dunlin, a Snipe, a Whimbrel, two Curlew, 110 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 138 Great Black-backed Gull including a roost of 125 on North Plain (numbers are building up now that there are so many vulnerable Manx Shearwater chicks across the Island), three Skylark including two over high, two Sand Martin, 188 Swallow, eight House Martin, 77 Meadow Pipit, three Grey Wagtail, 19 alba wagtail, 12 Robin, 12 Wheatear including at least two probable leucorhoa, a Sedge Warbler, three Blackcap, a Whitethroat, 13 Chiffchaff, five Willow Warbler and three Spotted Flycatcher.
