Fewer birds over today, just a trickle of Hirundines and Meadow Pipits. The highlights were found by Jonathan Bennett later in the day at the Hotel Sycamores at Whitesands: a Yellow-browed Warbler and a Firecrest (both were still present at 2:35pm - PKG). Clearly late morning arrivals. The other things seen by Jon and Kathy and I were: 30 Chiffchaffs, 2 Redstarts, 6 Spotted Flycatchers, 4 Blackcaps, a Sedge Warbler, 8 Goldcrests, a Whitethroat and 3 Wheatears. A flock of 105 Teal was present for a while before breaking up and departing.
