Most of the warblers have now left this site and it seems comparatively quiet compared to July and August, though still plenty of Chiffchaffs (20+) and a single Willow Warbler. Small parties of up to a dozen or so Goldcrests were scattered around the site and in amongst them a single
Firecrest, only the second at Ty Rhyg. The breeding Siskins seem to have departed and Redpolls also seem very thin on the ground. Several snipe flushed from near the pond.
