My first visit in a while, having gone cold turkey after handing the counts over to Paul Culyer last year. Nice to see 14 Brent at Kilpaison, as well as lots of wigeon for Paul to count next week, plus more mallard than I've ever seen there. The shore at Kilpaison took a while to warm up as the hunt had just been down there, but a couple of knot and a dunlin. 8 little egrets roosting in a tree at the village end.
