A pair of Jays were busy at Rudbaxton, ferrying acorns from isolated Oak trees into deeper woodland. They flew directly in both directions except when active Buzzards, Ravens and a Red Kite crossed their flight lines, when they temporarily took refuge in the nearest trees. Foraging began again as soon as the perceived threat passed.
