The Dutch SandwichTern at Newport on 7th which was then at Burry Port on 25th was at West Kirby in the Wirral yesterday - presumably a victim of the wind. This ringing group is the only one I have dealt with who provide unsolicited updates.
Meanwhile at Newport the 2 Barwits seem very settled at the bottom of Long Street. This am below the bridge a juv Goosander & a Water Rail.
The only ringed gulls were 2 regular Gloucester landfill Herrings.
