Lots of movement, mainly Starlings and Chaffinches but often high, beyond the naked eye, fairly typical of such bright conditions. I noted hundreds of each but counting was really impossible. In bins I also picked up a Merlin hunting the high-flying migrants. A few Skylarks and a first Brambling went through and there was a Song Thrush and a couple of lingering Chiffchaffs roundabout.
