St Davids Hd am
You can't beat vis mig on a day like today - well perhaps a White's Thrush would - all sorts was moving south and east; at least up until 10:40 am when it dropped off rapidly. The quality bird was a Woodlark which flew over at 10:00 am. The majority were Chaffinches (c600), Starlings (c400), Skylarks (160 - a really good count here), Meadow Pipits (40) Reed Buntings (9) and there were a few Siskins, 2 Snipe, a Redpoll sp and a Snow Bunting. There were thrushes in too, Song Thrushes had increased to 20 and similar numbers of Blackbirds were about, there were 2 Redwings, a Mistle Thrush and a Fieldfare (but strangely not a Ring Ouzel). Intriguingly there were 5 Blue Tits out on the cliffs beyond the Burial Chamber.
