Broad Haven: c30 scoter on the rising tide, thought I caught a flash of white on one birds open wings but too distant to be sure. A merlin flicking along the cliff tops as well. Good look around Pantmaenog and Ty Rhyg, in the hope of a returning GGS - conditions were perfect but no sign (yet!). Red kite having a tussle with a buzzard over Rosebush, a few small groups of Fieldfare (Fieldfares in H'west this morning and a couple of Redwings on Racecourse this afternoon). Ty Rhyg: First woodcock and big flock of starling in sheep field, questimate 5,000+.
