The Bittern was showing in the reedbed at the top of the eastern arm of Bosherston Lily Ponds this afternoon, also the female Red-breasted Merganser has been seen consorting with a female Goosander this week. Also this afternoon, a Great Northern Diver and at least two adult Mediterranean Gulls in the roost in Angle Bay. Elsewhere, yesterday, there were at least eight Lapland Buntings at Dale Airfield.
