A large number of gulls gathered just off the Bitches this afternoon, all sitting on the water waiting for the flood to start. Not an uncommon sight at this time of year but it made sifting through them and counting them easier as they were sitting still! Totals were: Black-headed gull 320, Med gull 2 (both ad w), little gull 1 (ad w), common gull 2, herring gull 20, LBB gull 10 and 40 kittiwake
