At last I managed to see the Kumlien`s Gull along with the juv Iceland at Brandy Brook. I threw some bread (as suggested by Dave) into the stream where it washed down to the edge of the surf. Bingo! all the Gulls pounced on it, giving me really good views as they flew around in front of me for twenty minutes or so. The incoming tide & failing light forced me to leave - one of those magical moments! Also as noted by Bob & Annie some 100+ Snipe over the marsh.
