After the visit to Newgale, where few (but good) gulls. Brief visits (WeBS recces) to the following sites,
Fishguard Harbour and Lower Town, c1000 Black-headed Gulls, but few large gulls. Three Med. Gulls and c100 Common Gulls.
Newport at c4pm very few gulls, Sam B did very well earlier with three colour ring controls..!!
Teifi, surprisngly few large gulls in the estuary or on Cardigan Island, like Fishguard good numbers of small gulls, c3500 Black-headed Gulls and c300 Common Gulls.
