Radford Pill to Carew Mill

A walk round a very soggy Radford Pill to see what the storm had brought in....actually just 17 bar-tails, otherwise fewer teal and no wigeon (though recent disturbance always a possibility here). On the way back over the stubble fields, a flock of 70 golden plover (first I've seen in the immediate area this winter) and 1 lapwing were put up by a pair of cruising peregrines, but no hunt ensued. Redwing in the fields.
