The adult Kumlien's Gull was in its usual spot at the mouth of the Brandy Brook, taking no notice of the valiant efforts of Natural Resources Wales to keep it open and clear the road (in time for the next storm?). Also the Nelson's Gull was on the campsite and although I didn't see it as well as I'd have liked, it's not the Simpsons Cross bird (check the bill) and I'm thinking too pale for the bird I saw here a while ago. If so (and I would like to see it in flight), then it's a remarkable fourth record of this striking hybrid in Pembs this winter.
