In the last 24hrs I have received two reports of dead auks on beaches :-
At Marloes - 16 Razorbills, 4 Guillemots and 2 Puffins - all predated, presumably at sea as not recent.
At Bullslaughter Bay - 8 Razorbills, 12 Guillemot, 1 Puffin and 1 Kittiwake. All clean and with good fat (some dissected), lots of debris around them.
I checked the Gann later and found nothing. reports from other beaches would be good (including negatives) as this sort of mortality has been expected following the big storms of recent weeks. I am not sure we can call it a "wreck" yet but collecting some data through the blog would be good.
