Spoonbill still on Mullock Marsh, it was bill-deep in the river above the stepping-stones before a heavy shower sent me looking for shelter, it was then sat in the middle of the marsh best viewed from Mullock Bridge end. 36 LB Brent, 10 redshank, 3 snipe and a greenshank. Earlier bumped into Derek at Marloes Mere and whilst sheltering from the showers we were dreaming of what the next bird-of-note might be - BW stilt, Alpine swift, Purple heron... In the meantime we had to make do with a chiffchaff flitting around and pair of Tufties.
