Martin's Haven & Marloes Mere

Relatively few migrants around today: a Goldcrest in the valley (along with a Blue Tit), and a single Wheatear on the Coast Path towards the Mere. At the Mere a good range of duck species (all looking well paired up), and 2 Chiffchaffs in the sallows near the Britton Hide. An interesting flock of 14 Meadow Pipits dropped onto the Trehill Farm fields at around 5 o'clock.

A walk around the Deer Park this morning gave good views of Guillemots and Razorbills feeding close in, and some decent-sized "rafts", probably of Razorbills, off Midland. The Shags are all in breeding plumage, with very smart crests!
