Not had a lot of time for birding in the last week or so, but did manage a female Black Redstart today when I finally managed to stick my head out of the workshop!
Similar arrival of migrants yesterday as at other sites, good numbers of chiffchaff, willow warbler, goldcrest and wheatear, with first blackcaps of the year.
Found a brand new chough nest site yesterday, bringing us up to 7 confirmed sites nest building, with two more territorial pairs still playing hard to get but I hope to add them to the tally soon.
