West Coast Birdwatching is here

Over the next 4 months (April to July) I will be available for a number of days leading birdwatching trips around our wonderful county.  I can provide you with a day out that delivers whatever you want (if the birds perform!).  From our stunning islands, to the coast, to the Preselis, and anywhere in between, it's your call!

I can take you to key habitats and locations, help you find specific species, or go in search of migrants, scarce and rare visitors.  I have 26 years experience of watching birds in Pembrokeshire, and finding unusual birds is a particular speciality - notable finds include Black Scoter, 2 Isabelline Wheatears, Laughing Gull, Black Duck and Semi-palmated Sandpiper.  Having served on both the Pembrokeshire & Welsh Records Panels, my skills in bird identification will take your birdwatching to a new level.

Web-site, Facebook and Twitter coming very soon, but for now if you are interested in improving your birding skills, finding that species you've always wanted to see, or just having a relaxed day out in good company, I can provide it.  Contact me via e-mail david.astins@btopenworld.com, or call 07766 911069 for a chat about your needs.  I look forward to hearing from you.  Dave Astins
