Kete and Marloes Mere

Circuit of Kete - still quiet in the hedgerows. A few Pied wagtails in fields toward lighthouse with 3 White wags in last field on right. Chiffchaffs in Mill Bay. 2 Wheatears and 2 pairs Stonechats along coast path. 3 Chough. Met Derek at Marloes Mere: Swallows appear to have arrived in numbers. A Peregrine sat in field towards Trehill Farm all evening, we couldn't make out if it was on a kill or not. A few warblers flitting around chasing the swarms of flies out from Britton Hide including a Blackcap and first Sedge Warbler of the year. Highlight was a female Hen Harrier that leisurely drifted up and down. Otherwise the pair of Shelduck, pair of Tufties, a Curlew calling and a Snipe.
