Marsh Harrier and Garganey - Marloes Mere

As Derek says cracking views of the harrier as it repeatedly quartered the marsh this evening, it hovered low causing panic amongst any waterfowl and dropped down a couple of times into the creeks before settling in the vegetation and appeared to be eating something (duckling?). As Derek says it was finally seen heading eastwards back towards Marloes/Mullock Bridge. The male Garganey did a fly around at 7.45pm just as I was passing the Britton Hide and dropped out of sight behind the screen of vegetation directly in front.
