Full circuit of Pantmaenog this morning. Went from bright sunshine to heavy mist with vis down to 20m on top path. Plenty of birds though. 2 cuckoos calling in stereo with poss a third bird further up towards top end. Tree pipits, Grasshopper warblers, Blackcap, Whitethroats, a Redstart and lots of Redpoll on top path. 3-4 family groups of Stonechats but no sign of any Whinchat yet, perhaps another week or so. Logging underway with much of the plantation at top being cleared.
