Another lovely evening at Plumstone. c6 Stonechat families, Whitethroats and Pipits carrying food. 2 Yellowhammers singing added a brilliant splash of colour. Down at the mere: 6 Swift, 3 female Shovelers and 30 Starlings all youngsters. Clouds of Red Admirals spiraling around and a couple of Golden-ringed dragonflies, seems primed for a Hobby to drop in.
