Four Swifts and a group of 8 Starlings in the last couple of days echo Brian's sightings. A Cuckoo has been on the Dowrog and Lesser Whitethroat still singing near the Youth Hostel. Dark Green and Small Pearl-bordered Fritillaries are active as were my first Thrift Clearwing moths today. An Elver in the tiny pond out there was a surprise on Friday.
