Shelducks ! - As we guessed, we appear to have lost our early juvenile Shelducks to Foxes. Three more new broods appeared today, all only a couple of days old. Parties of 5 and 7 young with adults at Jewsons, and a party of ten young with adults opposite st. Dogmael's Quay.
Lesser Whitethroats - great to see the population still expanding, with three more breeding adults caught this morning during our CES (Constant Effort Site) ringing on the Reserve. Two breeding adults ringed already during previous CES sessions this season.
