Carew

Adult Med Gull, its black hood just a shadow, feeding on a muddy island in the SW corner of Carew Millpond this pm. As it quartered the little island it picked up a worm every 3-4 steps. Not sure what sort of worms these are, in the unusual tidal conditions of the millpond (looked lugworm-type, but on the surface).

A couple of days ago a walk round from Radford Pill produced 3 little egrets, and just 2 waders - a common sand and a redshank. And a stock dove.
