Deer Park

Beautiful clear evening, warm with hardly a breath of wind. With lots of Crane flies on the wing and with 7 Whinchat and many (15?) Stonechat, it was like a breakfast cereal advert with all the snap, crackle and popping of beaks. Also put up a fox, first I've seen up here. Garganey still on Marloes Mere. Big tide at Mullock Bridge, 7 Greenshank flying around trying to find a place to put down, 4 Wigeon, 4 Heron, 1 Redshank and a dozen or so Teal. Bank of low cloud/mist rolling in across St Brides Bay at dusk.
