Gann

A beautiful early evening walk at the Gann.  A nice little selection: 4 Redshank, 2 Greenshank, 14 Ringed Plover, 2 Dunlin (including 1 very tame juvenile on the pool), 1 Grey Plover, 2 Snipe, 6 Teal, 4 Little Grebe, a Kingfisher (in front of the Crabhall reed bed), 2 Grey Heron, 4 Pied Wagtail, 10 Linnet, 4 Rock Pipit, 30 Black-headed Gulls, hundreds of Herring Gulls & 4 Little Egret (including a colour ringed bird - a red ring with a white H on the left leg, and a yellow ring with a black P on the right leg, as well as a metal ring - will be interesting to see where it is from).
