No sign of Brian's Pectoral Sandpiper at MM but a fine juvenile
Ruff was a nice surprise. The
Garganey was sleeping out from the Britton Hide, and 2
Pintail were a good site record. I missed the Osprey at the Gann, but Paul G had seen it in the morning do a similar show to this evening, trying twice to catch fish on the lagoon (without success). Paul had 4
Whinchat south-east of Martin's Haven today, and an unusual record of a
Pied Flycatcher on Dale Airfield (around the cabbages in the N/W section) and a handful of
White Wagtails.
