Short-toed Lark still in the field beside the NT car park until I left at 9.15am. Surprisingly hard to pick out, as it's plumage really matches the terrain plus it keeps dropping into the hollows and drills and can be easily missed. Noticeable movement of pipits and Skylarks heading east. Some of the pipits are really strikingly marked but couldn't make them into anything but Meadow Pipits.
