Still rather quiet though the first Merlin present here too today, some evidence of Rock Pipits moving but, apart from a Snipe, Water Rail and Reed Bunting, not much else. The Sparrowhawks nested successfully in a patch of withies once again and now a pair of Woodpigeons are in the same old Crow's nest - it's definitely a des res. Here at Sealyham the Green Sandpiper appears to be back and this rather wonderful Merveille du jour turned up last night, a moth I've always wanted to see.
