A lovely day and a few birds about. Three Whinchats were good to see and there were single Curlew, Whimbrel and Snipe. The first alba Wagtails were on the golf course, including several Whites. This arrival was also noted by John and Marion Best at Pencarnen. They reported 'hundreds' of alba Wags arriving from the sea and moving through. A similar pattern was noted for Hirundines, mainly Swallows arriving 'in off' and then moving both north and south as they hit the coast.
