In a stiff but warm Easterly wind, hoping for the Osprey which hadn`t shown by 1300 - some nice birds about though. 2 Greenshank, 7 Redshank, 5 Wheatears, 2 Little Grebes, 7 Ringed Plover, 5 Dunlin, 2 Whimbrel, 3 Little Egrets, 1 Turnstone & a flock of some 40 Linnets. 4 Shelduck on the sea. A steady stream of Swallows (mostly) moving through in a SSE heading. Met a visiting birder from Dorset who passed on his thanks to Paul G for local updates.
